We're back and selling and letting houses, just as we have since 1983!


With safety of our customers/clients and team members at the heart of this new era we will, of course be working closely with Government guidelines

What does this mean ?

  • We will ask whether any party is showing symptoms or has been asked to self-isolate before going ahead with any viewing, or visits to offices.
  • An appointment system for visits to our offices and when conducting viewings.
  • We will aim to have 'virtual viewings' wherever possible in the first instance and only physical viewings where a buyer/tenant has a strong interest.
  • Where we accompany physical viewings we will seek to maintain a minimum of 2 metres distance from others wherever possible. Where social distancing is not possible and the visit is within an enclosed space, We will where a face covering.
  • Where they do not accompany the visit, they should make sure that both buyers and sellers clearly understand how the viewing should be conducted safely.
  • All parties viewing a property should wash their hands with soap and water (or use hand sanitiser, which we aim to have available) If you (the owner or landlord) are in occupation, we will ask you to leave all internal doors wide open so there is no need for contact. If vacant, we (wearing suitable gloves) will open all doors before the viewing and close similarly afterwards. We will ask viewers to wash or sanitise their hands post-viewings
  • We will ensure that any keys are appropriately cleaned before handover.   
  • With current working guideline you are unlikely to see as many of us physically in our offices at any one time but do not fear, we are fully functional!                 

The above is a guideline and our aim, as ever, is to make buying/selling/letting or renting a smooth a process as possible for all parties.
