EALING Area Guide

Ealing is - oddly enough! - in the London Borough of Ealing, in west London
and is a highly sought after area in which to live, with excellent local shopping and a wide choice of pubs and restaurants – and within close vicinity to the centre of London and its attractions.

There are many parks, open spaces, sports areas and play areas that include Pitshanger Park, Walpole Park, Bramley Gardens, Blondin Park and Nature Area, Dean Gardens, Ealing Common, Fox Wood, and Gunnersbury Park.

Ealing’s location means that it benefits from short distances to prime transport connections and road routes into and out of the capital and all its huge attractions.  There are tube stations at North Ealing, Ealing Common, Ealing Broadway, and South Ealing; all are on the Piccadilly line - and Ealing Common also has District line connection while Ealing Broadway has both District and overland services - and there are very good bus networks both in to and away from central London.

There are many excellent local state and private schools in the area that cater for all needs and - as there should be - there is stiff competition for places at the best schools, a full list of educational establishments can be accessed via this link: http://www.ealing.gov.uk/info/200086/schools_and_colleges
