Acton is in the London Borough of Ealing, in west London and we are experiencing a huge shift in people moving out of Central London to Acton given the benefits. Acton has good local shopping - with a variety of pubs, restaurants and amenities - and is within close vicinity to the centre of Ealing and its attractions.
There are many parks, open spaces, sports areas and play areas that include Acton Park, Gunnersbury Park, Acton Green Common, Mill Hill Gardens, North Acton Playing Fields, and Springfield Gardens
Acton’s location means that it benefits from short distances to prime transport connections and road routes into and out of the capital and all its huge attractions. There are no less than six tube stations - Acton Town, South Acton, Acton Central, North Acton, East Acton and Acton Mail Line, that have a mixture of Piccadilly, Central, District and overland line connections - and there are very good bus networks both in to and away from central London.
There are many excellent local state and private schools in the area that cater for all needs and - as there should be - there is stiff competition for places at the best schools, a full list of educational establishments can be accessed via this link: http://www.ealing.gov.uk/info/200086/schools_and_colleges
